AhlulBayt News Agency: A prominent Lebanese cleric has emphasized the recommendations of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei for Hajj pilgrims, focusing on the themes of freedom and monotheism.
Sheikh Mostafa Malas, a member of Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars, elaborated on the significance of Hajj and the key concepts conveyed in Ayatollah Khamenei’s message to pilgrims.
He stated, “The Leader’s message is directed at all of humanity, explaining the true meaning of Hajj.”
He further noted, “This message highlights that Hajj is an interactive ritual rooted in freedom and monotheism—concepts that liberate individuals from submission to tyrants and oppressors.” He added that Ayatollah Khamenei once again emphasized these principles, urging Muslims to strengthen their solidarity.
According to Sheikh Malas, unity among Muslim nations is essential to prevent oppression by global powers, as seen in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.
“Hajj is a sacred destination for all who believe in the mission of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH),” he said, describing the annual pilgrimage as the largest and most significant gathering of monotheists.
He pointed out that this year’s Hajj pilgrimage takes place amid escalating violence in Palestine, where the people of Gaza continue to suffer.
“The duty of pilgrims in Hajj 2025 is to express their support for Palestinians,” he stressed, emphasizing that silence in the face of such atrocities is unacceptable.
